OUR STORY
HISTORY
The site of a summer camp since the early 1900's. the venue has expanded from sleepaway camp into a fall season multi-functional site for all types of events.
The history of camps on the site is a long one, with Maine Teen Camp (established in 1984) continuing to operate to the present day.
One hour from Portland, ME and situated in the foothills of the White
Mountains, NH, this little corner of Maine welcomes hundreds of teenagers each summer from all around the world operating as Maine leen Camp.
THE DETAILS
RENTAL INFORMATION
Rentals can either be a day-only rental or overnight with the use of cabins. Our overnight cabins can sleep up to 120 guests in traditional bunk houses with electricity and full bathrooms. Extra fees are charged for rentals that include overnight use of cabins. We welcome just one group at a time at reasonable rates and tall availability is limited to just September and early October each year.
We host weddings, reunions, birthdays and anniversaries, corporate training groups, regional meetings, school groups, and plenty more. We are happy to discuss details with you!
OUR CENTERPIECE
THE LODGE
Our main lodge is at the heart of the property and comfortably seats groups of up to 200 at large wooden tables and benches for mealtimes. It has a large functional stone fireplace and hardwood floors accompanied by stunning lake views off the deck overlooking Stanley Pond.
Included in rental is the use of our main commercial kitchen for vour meal preparation or catering purposes. A stone patio surrounded by tall pine trees and beautiful gardens is a favorite cocktail and gathering spot. There are two beach areas that offer spectacular viewing angles of the lake for ceremonies and gatherings.
